The decision to engage in therapy is usually made after a great deal of thought and consideration. Selecting a provider who will be a good fit for you is crucial since the process requires great emotional investment and the outcomes are so consequential.
I understand that the experiences of individuals and families are unique and cannot be addressed with a one-size-fits all model. Instead, my approach is tailored to my patients and their needs. I collaborate with patients around finding solutions to problems that work within their value systems. I have found that a combination of insight about the problem with work on changes in behavior go a long way to reducing the stress and dissatisfaction people feel.
I provide a broad spectrum of evaluation and psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, families and couples experiencing a wide variety of psychological, emotional and behavioral problems. There are many approaches to helping people resolve their emotional and psychological concerns.
I am available upon request for presentations and public speaking engagements about a range of topics, including insights from my book about parenting and child discipline.
I am also available for in-services, workshops, and training on a variety of mental health, organizational and workplace topics.
